ILRT Inc is conducting its three-day 10CFR50 Appendix J Option B course in Richmond Virginia for testing personnel from several Dominion Power plants. As the utility has ILRTs pending at some of its plants, the course will focus on the ILRT or Type A test. The course is scheduled for June 13th-15th inclusive.

The ILRT at Indian Point Unit 3 started two and one half hours early, ended three hours early. Total test cycle time was under schedule at 38 hours.

The Brunswick Unit 2 ILRT was completed successfully in just under 33 hours (0 psi-to-0-psi). Ops managed to keep the plant stable virtually the whole period, making leakage measurement/schedule adherance much simpler.
